Semi Rigid

Semi Rigid glasswool is available in rolls or sheets making it suitable for a large range of industrial and commercial insulation applications.

Its excellent thermal and acoustic properties make it ideal for lining sheet metal ductwork.

Other recommended uses for Semi-Rigid glasswool include storage tanks, process vessels, appliance cabinets, electrostatic precipitators, plant rooms and the manufacture of acoustic baffles.

The product can accommodate both flat and curved surfaces. Semi-Rigid glasswool is also ideal for use in curtain walling, spandrel panels and under concrete slab roofs to lessen heat load in building structures.


Semi Rigid Rolls
•   Nominal density 32kg/m3.
•   Ideal for lining and lagging sheetmetal ductwork.
•   Reduces surface temperature and heat loss from curved surfaces of plant and process vessels and storage tanks.
•   Excellent acoustic absorption is achieved in baffles, fan silencers/splitters and acoustic panels.

Semi Rigid Sheets
•   Nominal density 32kg/m3.
•   Ideal for lining sheetmetal ductwork, and the building envelope including car park slabs.
•   Reduces surface temperature and heat loss from flat surfaces of plant and process vessels and storage tanks. Excellent acoustic absorption is achieved in baffles, fan silencers/ splitters and acoustic panels.
•   Vapastop 883 Aluminum Foil Tri-Laminate (AFT) is a flexible tough foil faced acoustic vapour barrier for internal duct liners.

Semi Rigid Marine Grade
•   Nominal density 32kg/m3.  20kg/m3 also available.
•   Non combustible.
•   Suitable for vessels and large diameter tanks.
•   IMO certified.
